So Unusual

I feel like this new start, this new website, this new “good stuff” blog should start with a classic. I was so young when our neighbors gave me this cassette as a Christmas gift. “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” was a new single. It was catchy and awesome (a word I’d come to appreciate a little too much as a young person). But for me the real magic was in “Money Changes Everything”, “Witness” and “She Bop”…with or without the weird WWF (now, WWE) tie-in. “Money” was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. And, even better, the live concert music video was so weirdly awesome. I didn’t know what to make of it. But I loved it all!
